Saint-Gobain Expands Global Footprint with Acquisition of FOSROC

Saint-Gobain has officially completed the acquisition of FOSROC, a key player in the construction chemicals sector with a strong presence across India, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region. This move, initially announced on June 27, 2024, further strengthens Saint-Gobain’s position in the global construction chemicals market.

With this addition, Saint-Gobain builds on its previous acquisitions of Chryso, GCP, and OVNIVER (Cemix brand), bringing its total construction chemicals sales to €6.5 billion across 76 countries. FOSROC, which is projected to have generated $487 million in revenue in 2024, has recorded an average annual growth rate of 11% since 2021. Operating 20 manufacturing facilities and employing around 3,000 people, the company offers a comprehensive range of technical solutions for the construction industry, including concrete and cement admixtures, adhesives, sealants, waterproofing systems, concrete repair solutions, and flooring products.

This acquisition reinforces Saint-Gobain’s expansion in high-growth markets such as India and the Middle East, aligning with its strategy to lead in sustainable and advanced construction solutions. Following the transaction, FOSROC will be integrated into Saint-Gobain’s High Performance Solutions division.
