Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd., in partnership with the Forest Department of Rajasthan, has launched a Material Recovery Facility (MRF) at the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve in SawaiMadhopur. This facility marks the first of its kind to be established in an Indian forest. The project aims to promote sustainability, raise awareness among visitors, and enhance the ecological health of the region.
The MRF was inaugurated by Shri Anoop K.R., IFS, Chief Conservator of Forests, along with other dignitaries, including Smt Shubham Chaudhary, IAS, District Collector of SawaiMadhopur, Shri K. The MRF will focus on plastic waste segregation and recycling, aiming for 100% segregation at the source. The facility will serve seven nearby villages, as well as the entire Ranthambore Tiger Reserve region, including forts, monuments, Ganesh Dham Temple, and hotels in the forest area. Bisleri also plans to engage local communities, schools, colleges, and businesses in promoting responsible waste management practices.

The MRF is a key part of Bisleri’s broader ‘Bottles for Change’ initiative, which addresses plastic waste challenges by promoting responsible usage, disposal, and recycling.
