Royal Enfield has teamed up with Qualcomm Technologies to incorporate the Snapdragon QWM2290 system-on-chip (SoC) and the Snapdragon Car-to-Cloud platform into the upcoming Flying Flea electric motorcycles, enhancing their connectivity and performance. The Snapdragon QWM2290 SoC will power the FFC6 model, offering a range of advanced connected solutions and an integrated cluster interface, making Flying Flea one of the first 2-wheeler platforms to adopt this cutting-edge technology.

The Snapdragon QWM2290 SoC, custom-built for 2-wheelers, will drive the core vehicle control unit and operate an in-house operating system developed by Flying Flea. This system facilitates seamless management of the motorcycle’s functions, providing an intuitive user experience through the advanced true round TFT cluster.
Through the Snapdragon Car-to-Cloud platform, Flying Flea ensures secure, multi-modal communication between the rider and the motorcycle, utilizing 4G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The system also features an easy-to-use interface with a dedicated Voice Assist button, customizable ride modes, and the ability to use a smartphone as a smart key to unlock and start the bike.
