Gensol Engineering has announced winning a ₹897 crore contract from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) to execute 225 MW grid-connected solar power projects in Gujarat. The solar projects will be developed under an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model at the GSECL Solar Park (Stage-III) in Khavda, situated in the Rann of Kutch.
According to Gensol’s regulatory filing, the contract covers the development of a 225 MW AC (equivalent to 276 MW DC) solar power system, including operations and maintenance (O&M) for a period of three years. The total project value of ₹897.47 crore includes taxes and duties.
