Panasonic, a global leader in innovative technologies, in collaboration with T-Hub, the world’s largest innovation campus and premier startup incubator in India, has selected four start-ups – Ayka Control Systems, GoVidyouth Mobility, PureLogic Labs India, and Xeeed IO – as finalists for the Innovation Challenge. These start-ups will work closely with both the India Innovation Center (IIC) and Panasonic Holdings Corporation (PHD) – Nessum teams to drive the adoption and commercialization of Nessum WIRE, a cost-effective wired communication technology, in India.

The Innovation Challenge was launched in September 2024, inviting start-ups from across India and beyond to leverage Nessum Technology. T-Hub played a crucial role in scouting and evaluating 197 innovative start-ups that applied, conducting roadshows and leveraging its extensive ecosystem to identify the most promising solutions. After a thorough evaluation, eight high-potential start-ups were shortlisted for the Demo Day, where they made their final pitch presentations.

Saijo Hiroshi, Head of Business Development Office at Panasonic Holdings, congratulated the shortlisted start-ups, stating, “At Panasonic, we are committed to customer-centric innovation. This Innovation Challenge has provided a platform for us to engage with talented Indian start-ups. The finalists will partner with both our Indian and Japanese teams to develop cutting-edge solutions for our enterprise customers using Nessum WIRE Technology. We look forward to leveraging their innovation to deliver customized solutions to both the Indian and global markets.”

Nessum WIRE is an advanced Japanese communication technology designed to be a plug-and-play, cost-effective solution for data communication over existing wires. In a rapidly growing economy like India, Nessum WIRE is particularly significant as it allows enterprise customers to maintain their existing network infrastructure while addressing communication challenges in remote or hard-to-reach areas such as basements and manufacturing plants. Together with T-Hub, Panasonic has carefully evaluated all the shortlisted start-ups and selected Ayka Control Systems, GoViyouth Mobility, PureLogic Labs India, and Xeeed IO as our partners. We look forward to collaborating with them to introduce these customized communication solutions to the market,” said Manish Misra, Chief Innovation Officer at Panasonic Life Solutions India.

Sujit Jagirdar, CEO of T-Hub, commented, “The Innovation Challenge with Panasonic highlights the powerful synergy that emerges when start-ups and global corporations come together to tackle real-world challenges. At T-Hub, we are proud to facilitate this collaboration, empowering start-ups to unlock their potential and create transformative solutions. Congratulations to the winners for showcasing the potential of Nessum HD-PLC technology. This partnership is a testament to the role of start-ups in driving innovation and shaping the future of communication technology. We look forward to seeing these solutions revolutionize the industry and pave the way for scalable, sustainable advancements in India and beyond.”
