Marking a decade of the “Make in India” initiative, ABB System Integration Unit has achieved a significant milestone with 85% of its integrated analytical systems manufactured in Bengaluru being exported to international markets. These advanced systems have reached countries including Argentina and the UAE, with ongoing projects in Canada and Australia.
Integrated gas and liquid analyzer systems play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of production processes. These systems provide precise real-time measurements of gas and liquid components, enabling industries to monitor production streams and emissions effectively. This capability helps optimize processes, reduce costs, minimize risks, and support environmental compliance by identifying inefficiencies and mitigating potential hazards.
“ABB’s commitment to improving operational efficiency for customers worldwide is evident in the expertise and capabilities of our team in Bengaluru,” said Javier Suárez Díez, Global System Integration Manager at ABB. “This success showcases our ability to compete in the global market with world-class analytical solutions developed in India.”
Its offerings in analyzer systems include continuous gas analyzers, advanced laser-based gas and liquid analyzers, process gas chromatographs, and tailored solutions that encompass engineering, fabrication, testing, and on-site support. These solutions cater to energy and industrial sectors both domestically and internationally.
In India, it has contributed to key projects such as a major petrochemical complex and initiatives with leading oil and gas enterprises. The Bengaluru facility is part of ABB’s global network, alongside locations in Saudi Arabia, China, and the United States, supporting some of the world’s most significant oil and gas developments.
Recently, ABB’s System Integration Unit received the Distributor of the Year award at the Instrumentation Excellence Awards in London, recognizing its exceptional contributions to industrial process and gas analysis. With a legacy spanning over 140 years and a workforce of more than 105,000 globally, ABB continues to lead in electrification and automation technologies.
ABB’s Process Automation division, comprising around 20,000 employees, focuses on helping industries achieve efficiency and sustainability in operations. ABB’s vision of “Engineered to Outrun” reflects its dedication to driving innovation and enabling a resource-efficient future.
