Schwing Stetter India, a subsidiary of Germany’s Schwing Group, is aiming to achieve a significant 30-40% growth in export revenue in 2025, surpassing ₹200 crore, according to Madhavan Padmanabhan, Assistant General Manager, Commercial. “We are actively working on internal projects, strengthening customer engagements, and onboarding new dealers across various countries. These efforts are expected to deliver results in 2025, boosting export revenue,” Padmanabhan stated.
The company, known for its wide range of concreting equipment such as batching plants, concrete pumps, truck mixers, and self-loading mixers, projects total revenue of ₹5,600 crore for 2024, marking a 5% year-on-year increase. Exports are expected to contribute ₹150 crore this year.
Schwing Stetter India has set ambitious long-term goals, aiming to double its revenue to ₹12,000 crore by 2030 and further expand to ₹25,000 crore by 2037. This growth is supported by favorable macroeconomic trends, increased global infrastructure investments, and initiatives like India’s National Infrastructure Pipeline.
Currently, exports to over 30 countries contribute approximately 3% of the company’s total revenue. Despite earlier expectations of stronger export growth in 2024, global economic challenges and geopolitical issues affected infrastructure project execution, slowing progress.
Madhavan expressed optimism for 2025, noting that increased government spending in the first quarter of the year is likely to drive sector growth and enhance export performance. With 85% of its product lineup localized, the company relies on imports only for critical materials like green steel. Concrete equipment accounts for 56% of the company’s overall revenue, reflecting its strong foothold in the segment.
In 2024, Schwing Stetter India introduced 16 new products and 14 variants. It plans to launch 25-30 new offerings in 2025 to meet evolving market demands. According to the Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association (ICEMA), the industry witnessed a robust 26% growth in FY24, with sales reaching 1.35 lakh units, up from 1.07 lakh units in the previous year. Schwing Stetter’s strategic initiatives position it well to capitalize on this growing momentum.
