Goodyear India Receives Golden Peacock Award for Corporate Governance Excellence 2024

Goodyear India Limited has been awarded the prestigious Golden Peacock Award for Excellence in Corporate Governance 2024 in the ‘Rubber’ category. This accolade highlights Goodyear’s strong commitment to ethical practices, transparency, and responsible governance across its operations.

The Golden Peacock Awards, regarded as a global standard for corporate excellence, celebrate organizations that excel in corporate governance, sustainability, and innovative practices. Goodyear’s recognition underscores its leadership in promoting transparency, accountability, and stakeholder trust.

Established in 1991 by the Institute of Directors (IOD), India, the Golden Peacock Award is among the most prestigious honors for exemplary governance and sustainability initiatives. This year, the awards received 499 entries across various categories, with 201 applications shortlisted through a rigorous three-stage evaluation.

The distinguished jury, led by Hon’ble Justice M. N. Venkatachaliah, former Chief Justice of India, alongside prominent experts in governance and sustainability, assessed the submissions against stringent criteria to identify outstanding corporate performances. The award ceremony took place on November 13, 2024, at The Montcalm, Marble Arch, London, UK, during the 2024 Annual London Global Convention on Corporate Governance & Sustainability, organized by the Institute of Directors, India.
