KAVACH, also known as the Train Collision Avoidance System or Automatic Train Protection System, is a critical safety solution provided by G G Tronics. According to the statement, the project entails the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of onboard KAVACH equipment meeting RDSO (Research Design and Standards Organisation) standards, along with a maintenance commitment for 11 years. The contract, valued between ₹500 crore and ₹600 crore, is expected to be executed within a 12-month timeframe. The scope of the project further includes comprehensive wiring, cabling, and integration of the system with locomotive infrastructure, reinforcing the company’s expertise in railway safety technology.
