Azad Engineering Ltd has signed a strategic supply agreement with French firm Arabelle Solutions, valued at approximately ₹340 crore (USD 40 million). This five-year contract involves the supply of critical rotating and stationary components for the global nuclear power generation sector, marking another significant milestone for Azad in the international energy market.
Earlier in the month, Azad Engineering also secured a ₹700 crore long-term deal with Japan’s Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. This contract focuses on supplying specialized components for advanced gas and thermal power turbines over the next five years, further solidifying Azad’s global footprint.
The company reported its best-ever quarterly performance in Q2 FY24, with profit after tax (PAT) rising 8.3% year-on-year to ₹21.07 crore, up from ₹19.45 crore. Revenue also saw a strong growth of 34.5% year-on-year, reaching ₹111.4 crore.
