Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Ltd. has announced an 11.6% increase in revenue for the second quarter of FY25 compared to the same period last year. The company’s profit before tax for Q2 FY25 reached ₹323.97 crore, marking a 4.9% rise from the previous year. Earnings per share (EPS) for this quarter stood at ₹13.15.
On a standalone basis, revenue from operations climbed to ₹3,135.83 crore from ₹2,811.14 crore year-on-year, while profit before tax rose from ₹308.73 crore. The growth in revenue was driven by strong year-on-year performance in the automotive aftermarket and export markets.
Harshavardhana Gourineni, Executive Director of Automotive & Industrial, commented on the positive results, noting the strong performance across various sectors. He highlighted the success of their newly launched indigenously designed AGM batteries and mentioned the company’s plans for expansion into new markets. Gourineni expressed optimism about building a broader product range and enhancing global presence.

He also noted the ongoing construction of a new cell manufacturing plant and the expansion of their recently inaugurated battery pack facility.
Chairman & Managing Director Jayadev Galla stated that the company is making significant progress in the lithium-ion battery and charger segments, while also enhancing their advanced lead-acid battery portfolio to ensure a growth-oriented future.
