Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd, a state-owned entity, has been awarded a contract worth ₹121.7 crore by the Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Ltd (MAHAGENCO). The order involves the supply, installation, and commissioning of an AI-based comprehensive security infrastructure at two key locations—GTPS-Uran and KGSC-Pophali.
Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd has received a purchase order from Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Ltd (MAHAGENCO) for the supply, installation, and commissioning of an AI-based Comprehensive Infrasecure Project at two sites: GTPS-Uran and KGSC-Pophali. The total value of the contract is ₹121.7 crore, including all taxes and duties, as per a filing with the stock exchange.
The project, to be implemented at the two specified locations, also includes an annual maintenance contract (AMC) for the installed systems after the first year. Mazagon Dock is expected to complete the project by October 10, 2025. In August, the company mentioned that it does not expect to maintain the margins achieved during the June quarter.
