Luigia Assi Just was an extraordinary woman who left an indelible mark on the history of the company she founded in 1955 in Milan. Barely in her twenties, Luigia embarked on a journey into the core engineering sector—a field that was largely uncharted territory for women at the time. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a vision beyond her years, she established Millutensil, a name that would become synonymous with innovation and excellence in the mechanical and automation sectors.
Luigia’s journey was with many challenges; she navigated age and gender biases with tenacity, ultimately transforming a small enterprise into a globally recognised manufacturing powerhouse. From its inception in 1955, ‘Signora Luisa’ led the company with a unique blend of feminine resolve and business acumen, steering it through decades of growth while staying true to the family values of rectitude, dedication, and a deep sense of duty. Her leadership saw Millutensil evolve into a symbol of Italian excellence in the mechanical and automation sectors, exporting cutting-edge technology across the globe, all while maintaining the close-knit ethos of a small, solid enterprise.

Luigia’s legacy continues through her daughters, Beatrice and Veronica Just, who now lead Millutensil with the same passion and dedication.
