MAN Industries has announced a major order worth Rs 1,850 crores for supplying API 5L grade line pipes for an offshore LNG project. This is one of the largest orders in the company’s history, secured through international competitive bidding. The delivery of the pipes will take place over the next 12 to 18 months.
The order includes high value-added SAW pipes, which offer better profits and strong EBITDA margins. This enhances MAN Industries’ reputation for providing top-quality solutions for critical oil and gas infrastructure projects worldwide.
With this new order, MAN Industries’ order book will exceed Rs 4,000 crores, with exports making up nearly Rs 3,650 crores. The company is also bidding for about $1.5 billion worth of line pipe projects for future domestic and international ventures.
Managing Director Nikhil Mansukhani stated that the start of the year has been very strong for MAN Industries, with orders totaling around Rs 4,000 crores. He emphasized the company’s focus on product excellence and timely deliveries, expecting this positive trend to continue.
In addition to oil and gas projects, MAN Industries is now also involved in specialized hydrogen transportation pipelines, positioning itself in the renewable energy market. The company is one of the first in India to be qualified for hydrogen transportation pipes, accredited by a respected European testing agency.
