Sterling Accuris Diagnostics, a leading chain of NABL-accredited pathology laboratories, has announced to expand into pharmaceutical and analytical testing through the acquisition of Vaibhav Analytical Services, a prominent provider of analytical testing services based in Ahmedabad. This strategic partnership boosts up Sterling Accuris’s service portfolio, particularly in pharmaceutical analytical testing. Founded in 2015, Sterling Accuris Diagnostics has rapidly grown to become a prominent player in the diagnostics sector. With more than 250 collection centers and 65 laboratories, the company has established a strong presence in the healthcare landscape. Sterling Accuris Wellness Private Limited has Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia as an investor, further solidifying its standing in the industry.
Gujarat, recognized as a pharmaceutical hub in India, holds the top position in the country’s pharmaceutical industry, boasting a 33% share in drug manufacturing and a 28% share in drug exports. Sterling Accuris’s recent acquisition of Vaibhav Analytical Services positions the company to capitalize on this thriving sector. Established in 1999, Vaibhav Analytical Services has built a strong reputation for its expertise in pharmaceutical analysis, playing a critical role in drug development and manufacturing.
Vaibhav Analytical Services operates an NABL-accredited laboratory in Ahmedabad, ensuring adherence to stringent international standards for pharmaceutical testing. The laboratory, servicing clients from across India, has also garnered approval from the Nigerian Government (NAFDAC) as a CRIA authorized laboratory.
