The company has entered into a long-term Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) agreement with A&S Power, a renowned technology provider, to collaboratively drive research, innovation, and development of cutting-edge Next-Generation Li-ion cell technology. This strategic alliance is a pivotal move in realising the vision of creating India’s first EV Ancillary Cluster in Gujarat.
This strategic partnership underscores Wardwizard’s unwavering commitment to enhancing its product offerings and advancing its EV Ancillary Cluster vision. The move complements the establishment of Wardwizard Global Pte. Ltd, a Research and Development Centre of Excellence in Singapore. An important milestone in this journey is the commencement of Phase I development of the EV Ancillary Cluster, including a 1 GWh capacity, aligning with the overarching goal of sustainable EV manufacturing in India.
Wardwizard Cells has achieved a coveted certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for its Li-ion cells manufactured at its state-of-the-art production facility. This certification is a testament to Wardwizard’s dedication to excellence. Through in-house testing and innovative configurations, Wardwizard has demonstrated higher absolute capacity, reduced deterioration over long-term cycling, and adherence to industry-leading standards. This recognition underscores the quality, dependability, and compliance of Wardwizard’s Li-ion cells.
The collaboration between Wardwizard and A&S Power extends to ongoing research, development, and joint technological innovation at Wardwizard’s Global Advanced Li-ion Cell Research Centre in Singapore. The partnership will also focus on augmenting production capacity and streamlining the supply of high-quality next-gen Li-ion cells. Additionally, A&S Power will provide technical assistance in establishing a collaborative production line, enabling Wardwizard to expand its manufacturing capabilities within India.
