FlexQube AB has proposed appointing Tobias Byfeldt and Daniel Pettersson as new members of its Board of Directors. The proposal will be considered at an Extraordinary General Meeting, which will also be asked to approve the departure of current Board member Per Augustsson.
Mr Augustsson is expected to focus on his operational responsibilities, particularly the development and sales of FlexQube Navigator autonomous mobile robot (AMR) solutions. The proposed changes are intended to strengthen the Board’s expertise in automation, international business development, profitability and corporate governance.
Mr Augustsson has played a key role in FlexQube’s technical and commercial development in the AMR business. His departure from the Board would allow him to concentrate on product development, customer projects and sales while continuing to contribute his technical knowledge and experience to the company.
Tobias Byfeldt, who is proposed as a new Board member, has experience in automation, mobile robotics and international business development. He is currently CEO of GARO and previously led the Lifting Automation business area at Piab Group. He also headed Kollmorgen’s global business in control systems for automated guided vehicles and mobile robots.
Mr Byfeldt has Board experience, including at MTEK Industry, and holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology. His background in technology, international sales and business development is expected to support FlexQube’s plans to expand its automation business and commercialise its products in international markets.
Daniel Pettersson is proposed to bring experience in executive management, corporate governance and profitability improvement. He served as CEO of Vätterledens Invest from 2017 to 2026, overseeing a portfolio of companies with combined annual revenue of approximately SEK 2 billion.
Before that, Pettersson was CEO of Markslöjd, where he led a business transformation and profitability improvement programme. He is also a Board member and former Chairman of Qualisys, contributing to its growth, international expansion and stock market listing. He holds an Executive MBA from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg. Mr Pettersson’s experience in capital allocation, strategic development and operational performance is expected to complement the existing Board’s capabilities.
Under the proposal, the Extraordinary General Meeting will vote on removing Mr Augustsson as a Board member and electing Mr Byfeldt and Mr Pettersson for terms lasting until the conclusion of the next Annual General Meeting. The changes remain subject to shareholder approval. A separate notice will provide details of the meeting and the full proposals.
