Fynd, an AI technology company specialising in unified commerce solutions, has entered the manufacturing technology market with the launch of Fynd Forge, an AI-enabled manufacturing execution system (MES). The platform is already operating at electronics manufacturer NeoLync’s facility in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, where it manages production processes from component receipt to finished-product dispatch.
Fynd Forge connects production, materials, quality control and product traceability through a common system. At NeoLync’s facility, it operates across more than 100 workstations and nearly 90 process stages, with around 160 operators using the platform concurrently during each shift.
The system supports multiple manufacturing programmes on the same production floor, each with different assembly procedures, testing requirements and quality standards. It tracks products through component receipt, assembly, testing, packing and dispatch, maintaining production and quality records at each stage.
Forge also connects with production machines and testing equipment to capture information as manufacturing takes place. Its integration with NeoLync’s existing systems keeps inventory, material and production records aligned with enterprise operations without requiring the replacement of the company’s existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
The platform includes forecasting tools to support production planning and an AI assistant that allows users to query live production and quality data in plain language. Teams can identify delayed work orders, examine defect patterns, process supplier documents and create workflows. The assistant can also perform authorised tasks, with actions recorded for subsequent review. Unlike systems that only monitor production, Forge controls the movement of products through defined manufacturing stages. It validates components, enforces quality checks and prevents products with unresolved quality issues from progressing to shipment.
Farooq Adam, Founder of Fynd, said the launch marks the company’s expansion beyond retail and commerce into manufacturing operations. He said the implementation at NeoLync provides a working production environment in which the platform can support different manufacturing programmes and their specific requirements.
Harish Kumar, Head of Business Operations at NeoLync, said Forge brings different production processes and testing requirements into one system while retaining programme-specific controls. He added that teams can track a product’s manufacturing history, check its quality status and determine whether it is ready for the next stage. The launch establishes manufacturing technology as a new business segment for Fynd, extending its AI-based capabilities from commerce operations to factory-floor management.
