Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) has secured new orders and notifications of awards worth approximately ₹2,349 crore across its power transmission and distribution (T&D) and Buildings and Factories (B&F) businesses in India. The latest contracts include projects in the domestic power T&D segment and the construction business. The company said the order wins reflected continued demand across its core infrastructure operations and added to its project pipeline for the current financial year. With these awards, KPIL’s year-to-date order inflows for FY27 have crossed ₹22,000 crore. The company expects its order pipeline across key business segments to support its execution and growth plans.
Manish Mohnot, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KPIL, said the company continued to see demand across its core T&D and B&F businesses. He said the latest contracts strengthened KPIL’s position in India’s infrastructure market and reflected its engineering and construction capabilities and experience in executing projects in domestic and international markets. MrMohnot added that year-to-date order inflows exceeding ₹22,000 crore provided a strong base for the company’s future growth.
The power T&D business covers infrastructure required to transmit and distribute electricity, including transmission lines and related systems. The segment serves the requirements of power networks as utilities and other customers expand and upgrade electricity infrastructure.
KPIL’s Buildings and Factories business undertakes construction projects for a range of facilities. The new awards in this segment add to the company’s activities in India’s building and industrial infrastructure market. KPIL provides engineering, procurement and construction services across power transmission and distribution, buildings and factories, water supply and treatment, railways, oil and gas infrastructure, urban mobility, highways and airports. The company operates in 75 countries and has executed projects across multiple infrastructure sectors.
Its manufacturing operations in India include two facilities for producing power transmission towers, heavy metal structures, scaffolding and formwork systems. These facilities support its EPC operations and supply requirements for infrastructure projects. In FY2026, KPIL reported revenue of ₹27,143 crore, equivalent to approximately US$2.9 billion. The company had more than 250 projects under execution across over 30 countries.
The latest order wins add to KPIL’s workload in India and reinforce the contribution of its T&D and B&F businesses to its overall operations. The company continues to pursue EPC opportunities across its infrastructure portfolio while drawing on its project execution and manufacturing capabilities.
