Krishival Foods Limited has appointed Vivek Kumar Jain as its Chief Business Officer (CBO), effective October 23, 2026. Mr Jain brings more than 25 years of experience in the consumer goods industry, including 18 years at Nestlé and seven years at Tata Consumer Products.
In his new role, Mr Jain will lead the company’s business strategy and growth initiatives, focusing on profitability, product portfolio expansion, category management and distribution development across domestic and international markets. His responsibilities will cover General Trade, Modern Trade, e-commerce, quick commerce and exports.
During his career, Mr Jain has held sales and business leadership positions and worked on expanding consumer businesses across multiple markets. At Tata Consumer Products, he contributed to the growth of Modern Trade and e-commerce operations and the expansion of the company’s export business. His 18-year tenure at Nestlé included a range of sales and business responsibilities across India and Thailand.
His appointment comes as Krishival Foods expands its consumer foods business across healthy snacks and ice cream. The company is focusing on developing its product portfolio, increasing distribution reach and building its presence in domestic and international markets.
Mr Jain’s experience in brand development, channel expansion and business management is expected to support the company’s efforts to scale its operations and improve profitability. His experience across established consumer goods businesses also includes developing growth platforms and managing teams across different markets. Mr Jain holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Commerce College, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) in Human Resources and Finance from AMS, Dehradun.
He has also completed a programme in Future Ready Product Management Using Artificial Intelligence from IIT Roorkee and a programme in Digital Marketing and Analytics from IIM Mumbai. In addition, he holds a General Management certification from SDA Bocconi.
