The International Real Estate Conference (IREC) 2026 has opened at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, bringing together real estate developers, investors, policymakers, technology companies and industry professionals from India and overseas. Being held from September 25 to 27, 2026, IREC 2026 is the seventh edition of the conference and the first edition to be hosted in India. The three-day event is expected to bring together more than 2,000 industry leaders from over 35 countries, along with 75-plus speakers and more than 100 exhibitors and technology companies.
The conference is awarded to NAR-India and is being hosted in Hyderabad by the Hyderabad Realtors Association (HRA). It is being held under the theme “The Door to What Happens Next”, with discussions covering changes in real estate markets, cross-border investment, artificial intelligence, PropTech, DeepTech, sustainable development, future cities, branded residences and changing workplace requirements.
IREC 2026 brings together three platforms — the Strategic Conference, Innovation Showcase and Luxury Property Expo. A key participant at the event is Kevin Brown, President, National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), along with representatives of NAR’s international partner associations and real estate organisations from different countries.
Sumanth Reddy Arani, Chairman, National Association of Realtors-India, said, “IREC 2026 marks an important milestone for Indian real estate. India has reached a stage where our developers, professionals and projects are increasingly operating at global standards. The next step is to build stronger international connections and create platforms that allow India to engage directly with global markets.”
The Strategic Conference on September 26 and 27 will include plenary sessions, global panels, CEO roundtables, keynote addresses and more than 30 breakout sessions. Topics will include cross-border investment, urban development, sustainable development, greenfield cities, branded residences, PropTech and DeepTech, real estate tokenisation, artificial intelligence and future workspaces.
The Innovation Showcase will feature more than 100 technology companies and will focus on AI, data intelligence, smart infrastructure and digital platforms being used across the real estate sector. The Luxury Property Expo, running throughout the three-day event, will showcase residential and commercial property opportunities from Hyderabad, other Indian markets and international locations.
Shailender Singh, Chair, IREC 2026, said, “The idea behind IREC 2026 is simple, to create a platform that connects India with what is happening next in global real estate. The industry is undergoing significant change, driven by technology, capital, sustainability, changing consumer preferences and new approaches to urban development.” The conference also includes networking lounges, deal zones, peer-to-peer meetings and an in-app delegate network to help participants connect based on markets, sectors and business interests.
Dr MSN Reddy, Chairman & Managing Director, MSN Group, said, “India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047 will be shaped by world-class cities and developments that match its growing aspirations. Hyderabad is well positioned to emerge as a leading global real estate destination.”
The event programme includes the curtain raiser on September 25, the Strategic Conference and Innovation Showcase on September 26-27, the Luxury Property Expo from September 25-27 and the IREC Gala Night on September 26. The conference provides a platform for Indian and international real estate stakeholders to discuss market developments, technology, investment, urban development and business opportunities while building professional relationships across markets.
