L&T Technology Services Limited (LTTS) has announced a strategic partnership with Anthropic to strengthen the use of artificial intelligence across engineering, product development and manufacturing. As part of the collaboration, LTTS will integrate Anthropic’s Claude AI models into its engineering platforms to help enterprises speed up product development, improve engineering processes and increase productivity.

Under the partnership, LTTS has joined the Claude Partner Network and will incorporate Claude models into its Engineering Intelligence platforms, including AgenticIQ, PlxAI, Ainfonix, AiNexus and AiTest. The integration is expected to support businesses across the entire engineering lifecycle, from product design and software development to testing, validation and lifecycle management.

The company said the partnership is aimed at helping customers move beyond traditional automation by bringing AI into everyday engineering decisions. The combined capabilities of engineering expertise, industry knowledge and AI will allow organizations to simplify complex workflows, improve collaboration and reduce the time required to develop and launch new products.

Claude-powered capabilities will be used to improve knowledge management, automate engineering documentation, support software development, enhance product testing and strengthen quality assurance. The solution is also expected to help manufacturers improve factory operations and industrial systems by making engineering processes more efficient and data-driven.

According to LTTS, the collaboration will enable customers to accelerate innovation while improving product quality, engineering productivity and speed to market. The company believes AI will play an increasingly important role in helping engineering teams make faster and more informed decisions throughout the product lifecycle.

Commenting on the partnership, Amit Chadha, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of L&T Technology Services, said engineering is entering a new phase where intelligence is becoming a core part of product design, software development and engineering decision-making. He said the partnership with Anthropic supports LTTS’ vision of transforming engineering through AI by embedding Claude across engineering workflows. He added that the collaboration will help global customers innovate faster and create greater business value.

LTTS said its Engineering Intelligence approach combines engineering expertise with artificial intelligence to improve the way products, manufacturing plants and industrial systems are designed, developed and maintained. Rather than focusing only on automating individual tasks, the company aims to help enterprises redesign engineering processes to achieve long-term efficiency and innovation.

L&T Technology Services is a global engineering and research and development services company and a listed subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro.
