Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing Limited has entered into a long-term supply agreement with FACC Operations GmbH of Austria, a global Tier-1 aerospace supplier and technology partner to leading aircraft manufacturers. The agreement covers the production and supply of precision-engineered aerospace components and flight-critical parts.

The contract was awarded following a competitive global sourcing process that included participation from multiple international suppliers. According to the companies, the selection follows a multi-year engagement involving technical assessments, manufacturing capability evaluations, quality system audits, commercial negotiations, and detailed program discussions.

Under the agreement, Unimech will supply aerospace components to support FACC’s global programs. The company will now begin a structured qualification and industrialisation phase, which will include first article inspections, process validations, and production readiness activities. Serial production will commence upon completion of required approvals and certification milestones.

The agreement strengthens Unimech Aerospace’s expansion in its Precision Components & Parts segment, supporting its strategy to increase participation in long-term aerospace manufacturing programs and deepen its integration into global supply chains serving OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.

“This agreement reflects the confidence global aerospace customers place in our engineering, manufacturing, quality, and delivery capabilities,” said Anil Kumar Puttan, Chairman and Managing Director of Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing Limited. “The fact that this opportunity was awarded through a highly competitive global sourcing process demonstrates the strength of our capabilities on an international platform. We look forward to working closely with FACC through the qualification and industrialisation phases and building a long-term partnership that supports global aerospace programs.”

FACC said the selection followed a comprehensive evaluation of potential suppliers. “Following a detailed assessment process, Unimech demonstrated the technical capability, quality systems, manufacturing competence, and commitment required to support our aerospace programs,” said Thomas Kraus, Executive Vice President Procurement at FACC. “We look forward to working together through the qualification phase and developing a strong long-term partnership.”
