Raimondi Group has introduced its first telecrawler crane, the TTC 70, marking its return to the crawler crane segment and expanding its position as a multi-segment lifting solutions provider. The new model has been developed by Terex Rough Terrain Cranes, a division of Raimondi Group, and represents a strategic step in addressing evolving global demand for versatile lifting equipment. The TTC 70 has been designed, engineered, and manufactured at the Group’s rough terrain headquarters in Crespellano, Italy. It establishes the foundation of a new telecrawler product line, with additional models planned in the coming years.
“The unveiling of the TTC 70 marks a pivotal moment for Raimondi as we continue to evolve into a fully integrated, multi-segment lifting solutions provider,” said Luigi Maggioni, Chief Executive Officer of Raimondi Group. “This expansion reflects our commitment to innovation and diversification, built on a strong engineering heritage and a growing global footprint.”
The new telecrawler concept combines the mobility advantages of crawler cranes with the operational simplicity of rough terrain machines. Unlike conventional rough terrain cranes that rely on outriggers and level ground conditions, the TTC 70 operates on crawler tracks, eliminating the need for outriggers and enabling operation on slopes of up to 4 degrees. This design reduces setup time, improves stability on uneven terrain, and enhances jobsite flexibility.
Stefania D’Apoli, Global Sales Director of Terex Rough Terrain Cranes, said the decision to re-enter the crawler segment responds to shifting industry requirements. “Infrastructure, energy, and complex construction projects increasingly demand machines capable of high performance on challenging ground conditions while maintaining operational efficiency,” she said.
The TTC 70 offers a maximum lifting capacity of 70 tonnes and a boom length of up to 36.8 meters. It is equipped with a 215-meter hoist rope drum and is available with Stage V and Stage IIIA engine configurations. The Stage V version delivers 168 kW at 2,200 rpm, while the Stage IIIA variant provides 164 kW at the same engine speed. Both options include a 300-liter fuel tank.
The crane integrates advanced systems including the TEOS operating platform adapted for crawler applications, T-Link connectivity, and electronic hydraulic pump management to optimize performance and fuel efficiency. Operator-focused enhancements include a redesigned cab with improved ergonomics, joystick-based controls, and an advanced remote operation system enabling single-operator execution of setup tasks such as counterweight handling.
Built to EU safety standards, the TTC 70 features a maximum transport width of 3 meters and reduced transport weight when operating without counterweights. Shared component architecture with the TRT range supports simplified maintenance and operational familiarity.
The TTC 70 is targeted at key markets including the United States, Canada, and Europe, with demand expected from rental companies, contractors, and infrastructure developers. First deliveries are scheduled for 2026 following comprehensive testing and field validation programs. With this launch, Raimondi Group strengthens its position across multiple lifting segments while reinforcing its focus on innovation and global market responsiveness.
