Asian Paints has launched a special Father’s Day campaign that pays tribute to the fathers whose encouragement, belief and sacrifices shape the journeys of their children long before success is recognized by the world. Inspired by the brand’s enduring “Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai” philosophy, the campaign tells the inspiring story of Indian sprinter Gurindervir Singh and the unwavering support of his father, Kamaljit Singh.
The initiative highlights the role of home as a nurturing space where confidence is built, aspirations take root and dreams are quietly cultivated. Through a moving film created in collaboration with Next Narrative and Lumos Studios, Asian Paints shines a spotlight on the powerful influence of family and the often-unseen contributions that help individuals achieve remarkable milestones.
Set in the heart of rural Punjab, the film traces Gurindervir Singh’s rise as one of India’s most accomplished sprinters. Recognized as the first Indian athlete to complete the men’s 100-meter sprint in 10.09 seconds, Gurindervir’s achievement has earned national acclaim. However, the campaign focuses on the years of dedication, perseverance and support that preceded the record-breaking moment.
Rather than centering solely on sporting success, the narrative explores the relationship between a father and son, portraying how faith, encouragement and shared determination can shape a future. The home serves as a symbolic backdrop throughout the story, representing the environment where ambition was nurtured and resilience was strengthened.
Commenting on the campaign, Amit Syngle, Managing Director and CEO of Asian Paints, said, “For decades, ‘Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai’ has celebrated the stories that make every home unique. We believe homes are where values are instilled, confidence is developed and aspirations begin to take shape. Gurindervir’s journey reflects the countless stories of determination that begin within families. This Father’s Day, we are honouring fathers whose steadfast support and belief create the foundation for extraordinary achievements.”
Reflecting on the campaign, Gurindervir Singh shared, “People often see the achievement but not the years of commitment behind it. My father stood beside me through every challenge and always encouraged me to keep moving forward. This film is deeply personal because it reflects the role my family and home played in helping me pursue my dreams.”
Mohit Jagtiani, Founder and CEO of Next Narrative, said the campaign was built around an authentic story that resonates across generations. He noted that the film celebrates the enduring impact of family support and the environments that inspire individuals to pursue their ambitions.
Through this Father’s Day initiative, Asian Paints reinforces its belief that homes are more than physical spaces. They are places where aspirations are nurtured, values are passed on and life’s most meaningful journeys begin. The campaign serves as a tribute to fathers across the country whose quiet support continues to inspire success, resilience and achievement for generations to come.
