Jaykaran Chandock - Director of Balu Forge Industries Limited

Balu Forge Industries Limited (BFIL), a leading precision engineering and manufacturing company, announced its audited financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026, highlighting strong operational performance, continued margin resilience and strategic progress across high-value engineering segments. For FY26, the company reported Revenue from Operations of ₹11,074 million, registering a 19.9% year-on-year increase. EBITDA stood at ₹2,995 million, reflecting a growth of 19.3%, while maintaining a healthy EBITDA margin of 27.0%.

Profit After Tax rose 27.0% to ₹2,589 million, with PAT margin improving to 22.7%. During the fourth quarter of FY26, Revenue from Operations stood at ₹2,636 million. EBITDA was reported at ₹599 million, translating into an EBITDA margin of 22.7%, while PAT reached ₹657 million with a margin of 22.9%.

Commenting on the results, Jaspal Singh Chandock, Chairman and Managing Director of BFIL, said the company’s performance was driven by consistent execution, operational scale-up and growing contribution from specialised engineering businesses. He noted that geopolitical developments in the Middle East impacted volumes across the India-UAE corridor during the quarter, but the company’s increasing exposure to higher-value engineering products helped cushion profitability.

A key milestone during the year was BFIL’s entry into the NATO supply chain following the commercialisation of its empty-shell production line. The company subsequently signed a five-year memorandum of understanding for the supply of large-calibre ammunition from its greenfield manufacturing facility in Belgaum, Karnataka. The agreement provides long-term demand visibility and reinforces BFIL’s strategic position within the defence manufacturing ecosystem.

To support future demand, the company has initiated plans to expand production capacities through internal accruals. The planned investments are expected to strengthen manufacturing capabilities across the large-calibre ammunition segment and support long-term growth.

BFIL also achieved a significant breakthrough in aerospace manufacturing by securing its first international aerospace order from Alpha Aircraft Systems Inc, USA, for the supply of precision-engineered components. The order marks the company’s entry into the global aerospace supply chain and reflects its growing capabilities in advanced manufacturing and precision engineering.

Founded by Prehlad Singh Chandock, Balu Forge Industries has established itself as a leading player in the precision engineering space, catering to industries such as automotive, industrial machinery, earthmoving equipment, wind energy, defence, oil and gas, railways, marine, and agriculture.
