Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited (BSE: 533293; NSE: KIRLOSENG), one of India’s leading manufacturers of internal combustion engines, generator sets and agricultural equipment, today announced its audited financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026, reporting its strongest-ever quarterly standalone sales performance.

The company recorded standalone quarterly net sales of ₹1,522 crore during the fourth quarter of FY26, reflecting a robust year-on-year growth of 24%. For the full financial year, net sales stood at approximately ₹5,604 crore, registering a strong 25% increase over the previous fiscal year.

The performance was driven by broad-based growth across business segments, stronger market penetration, operational efficiency initiatives and growing traction in international markets. The company also sustained double-digit EBITDA margins during the year, underlining its focus on profitable and sustainable growth.

Commenting on the company’s performance, Gauri Kirloskar, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited, said the company concluded FY26 with its highest-ever quarterly sales, supported by disciplined execution and strong demand across businesses.

She noted that the Power Generation business delivered strong momentum across low, medium and high horsepower segments, helping the company strengthen its market position and expand its customer base. According to her, the Industrial business also witnessed healthy traction across sectors such as marine, railways and construction equipment, supported by deeper engagement with OEM partners and expansion into new applications.

The company’s after-sales and service business, Kirloskar Care, continued to gain momentum during the year through improved service penetration and expansion into whole goods. The company also undertook a strategic restructuring initiative within its Fluid Dynamics business to consolidate operations, enhance efficiency and broaden its product offerings.

International operations emerged as another growth driver for the company during FY26, with overseas sales expanding at a faster pace than domestic business. The company attributed the improvement to focused market development efforts and strengthening global customer relationships.

Kirloskar Oil Engines also maintained a sharp focus on operational discipline throughout the year, particularly in areas such as inventory management, supply-chain optimization and profitability enhancement. The company said these initiatives have helped create a stronger foundation for future growth while improving resilience across business cycles.

The Board of Directors has proposed a total dividend of 350% for FY26. This includes a final dividend of 225%, equivalent to ₹4.50 per equity share, subject to shareholder approval. The proposed final dividend is in addition to the interim dividend of 125%, or ₹2.50 per equity share, already paid during the year.

With a legacy spanning several decades, Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited has built a strong presence across domestic and international markets through its portfolio of power generation solutions, industrial engines, agricultural equipment and engineering systems. The company continues to invest in technology, operational excellence and market expansion to strengthen its position in the evolving energy and industrial landscape.
