REB Storage Systems International, a leading provider of material handling and storage solutions with more than six decades of industry expertise, has been appointed as an elite US dealer for Ferretto’s Vertimag Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs). The partnership strengthens REB’s automation portfolio and enhances its ability to deliver advanced storage and retrieval systems designed to improve operational efficiency and maximize warehouse space utilization.
Ferretto’s Vertimag Vertical Lift Modules have been deployed across global markets for over 20 years and are recognized for their ability to streamline storage operations while significantly reducing floor space requirements. The systems are available in 15 models with six bay configurations and 120 tray options, allowing businesses to customize solutions according to SKU profiles, throughput demands, and payload capacities. Compared to conventional racking systems, Vertimag solutions can reduce storage footprints by as much as 90 percent.
One of the key features of the Vertimag system is Ferretto’s proprietary Ergo-Tech technology, which creates a dual-level picking bay within a single footprint. The design supports uninterrupted picking operations and improves productivity by maintaining a consistent ergonomic picking height for operators.
The Vertimag platform is powered by Ferretto’s integrated software suite, enabling seamless connectivity with ERP and warehouse management systems. The software delivers real-time inventory visibility, optimized tray handling, improved picking accuracy, and detailed operational reporting to support data-driven warehouse management.
As part of the agreement, REB Storage Systems will provide end-to-end support for Vertimag VLM installations, including system design, project management, permitting assistance, installation, and ongoing maintenance services. REB’s engineering and support teams will work closely with customers to develop tailored automation solutions aligned with long-term operational goals.
